madwifi, wpa_supplicant, kernel conflict

Today I updated my kernel, and thus the madwifi modules. After reboot I was unable to connect to my wireless network, it always times out at authentication. I installed a new wpa_supplicant version, dindn't work. After installing old versions of the three packages from my Arch CD I was able to connect to my wlan again.
So I'm afraid there is some conflict between the newest versions the kernel, madwifi and wpa_supplicant packages.

Re: madwifi, wpa_supplicant, kernel conflict

http://bugs.archlinux.org is the best place to post this, and the fastest way to get it fixed. Please post the relevant parts of your /var/log/pacman.log so that we know what versions are involved.
