I have brasero-svn installed from aur. I use yaourt for package management. I'm little confused about how yaourt detects and downloads updates to svn packages.
How does yaourt detect updates to brasero-svn? Does yaourt -Syu --aur suffice? Or do I have to periodically re-install brasero using yaourt -S brasero-svn to pull latest updates committed to the svn?
Thanks.

Never mind. I figured the revision number in PKGBUILD takes care of this.

Assuming you have versionpkg installed, the -Syu --aur command will search for the latest svn revision and ignore the revision number in the PKGBUILD. That's the preferable method. (In a future pacman release, makepkg will have versionpkg's functionality built in.)

Thanks stonecrest for the tip. I do not have versionpkg installed and yaourt alerted me of new revision number (with -Syu --aur) but I had to manually install the new revision of brasero. And yes... versionpkg should make the job much easier. Thanks again.
