Lapsus applet problems

I've installed lapsus on an Asus G1S running Arch64 (2.6.24-rc6-zen0 -- asus-laptop is loaded, acpi_asus not compiled).

As seen below, the daemon is up and working. Pressing the volume buttons has the desired effect (it shows up in kmix), however the brightness keys don't produce acpi events in the logs (separate issue).

The applet is completely empty, the buttons in the configuration dialog just do not work at all and the lists are completely empty.

This holds true for both lapsus and the latest lapsus-svn (revision 76).

The GUI now displays everything, and now the only problem is that the brightness keys on the keyboard don't work..
