To 32- or 64 - bit version - this is the question
Since I am trying to install Arch on my laptop, I am unsure whether to download the x64 version. The laptop has a t2310 dual core with 1 GB of RAM. If there will be problems with drivers or certain applications - then, tell me! Otherwise I don't see a particular reason, why would I install a 64-bit OS on the laptop.

This has been asked many times on the forum.... Try a search.
Anyway, essentially 1Gb of RAM = use 32 bit.

Thanks. That was my initial intention too! I will stick to the 32-bit version for now.

I use 64 bit and quite honestly I do not see one iota of a difference. Java is the only thing I can't get working and honestly, with the flexibility of arch, I have found plenty of ways to avoid java. I do not support 'software' that doesn't support 64 bit. U may call it whining, I call it a need for change. A direction we all need to start moving in. 
AMD And INTEL have forgotten about 32 bit, its time software vendors did too.

32 bit supports up to 4 gigs, 64 bit supports up to 64 gigs, I believe.
