DHCP in rc.conf

The DHCP note in rc.conf might be better if it included the wireless ID as well as eth0 such as :(eth0 or wlan0)or maybe (eth0 or if a wireless interface ..wlan0}...

Re: DHCP in rc.conf

People don't know that wlan0 is an interface just like eth0?

Re: DHCP in rc.conf

Some of them have posted indicating they don't, especially newbies to wireless.

Re: DHCP in rc.conf

I recently found out that a wireless interface can be named something other than wlan0 =\ My bad for just sticking to one chipset.

Re: DHCP in rc.conf

The wireless in the Sony Vaio CR-120 was wlan0. In my FJ-270 it is eth1. The first is the 4965 and mine is an ipw2200.
