Weird/stupid/annoying "locked screen" bug in XFCE [SOLVED]

I use XFCE, and gnome-screensaver to lock the screen. This is really stupid:

If I have a terminal in my desktop, and lock the screen, I can't enter the password. However, if I use alt+tab (stupid, but works) I can see that my password is being typed into the terminal!! This means that I can't change the focused window(?) while the screen is locked! Argh!!!

All I can do is restart the X server.

Other times, the dialog box just flickers eternally, but when that happens, I can still type, and I still don't know how to reproduce that.

Compiz Settings manager -> uncheck "unredirect fullscreen windows"
