Compiz fusion causes windows to freeze.

Hello, when I change to the compiz WM, all windows get freezed (terminal, firefox... all apps) until I change again to metacity.

Effects work, only that Windows are freezed as "No response".

What can I do to solve this?

I have an intel graphics i915 card. I join my xorg.conf. Greetings:

Re: Compiz fusion causes windows to freeze.

Sounds like you don't enable the move window plugin . Look up the  settings or configs of compiz. If you want to resize windows you also should enable the resize plugin.

Re: Compiz fusion causes windows to freeze.

I have solved it:

Simply I have added to Device Section of my xorg:

Option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" "true"

Greetings
