After getting the thinkfinger fingerprint scanner working successfully, I have now done a setup of vsftpd and found that nearly all my fingerprint scans now fail as swipes altogether (as seen by tf-tool --acquire just keeps counting failures and not successes). By unloading uinput and then reloading I found that I could claim a brief period (under a minute) where the scans would actually count again, but this is not all that useful functionality wise. Does anyone by any chance know what might of caused this? If details about any part of my setup are needed please don't hesitate to ask.
