QT apps look awful in GNOME

Currently i've stuck on this problem - I have a GNOME setup with two QT apps - Skype and Virtualbox , where Skype uses QT4, but Virtualbox - QT3.
The qtconfig tool only sets up the look for QT4 applications. Here's a screenshot of GNOME , Virtualbox and Skype and how they look different :

Also i have cairo-lcd and libxft-lcd packages if you're wondering why the fonts look different.

Is there a way to configure QT3 apps ?
Is there a way to antialiase/smooth fonts for both Virtualbox and Skype ?

Re: QT apps look awful in GNOME

To configure qt3 you need to run:

 /opt/qt/bin/qtconfig

This is the qt3 qtconfig.

Re: QT apps look awful in GNOME

Thanks for your reply Dheart, the qtconfig tool is only for QT4 applications.
