problems with xfce4

hi guys, i am tryign to install xfce4 but no success yet. mayeb you can help smile

i ran:

pacman -Syu
pacman -S xfce4

then i continued to edit xinitrc to "exec startxfce4" and when i "startx" i get command not found

any ideas?

1st thing:  run /etc/rc.d/xfce.sh.  That will add the xfce paths to your PATH.  Logging in and out should fix the problem.

2nd thing:  just startxfce4 will bring up X, as well as XFCE.  you can use startxfce4 instead of startx.

That should have been /etc/profile.d/xfce.sh...
