Has anyone successfully compiled KDE4?

Has anyone  successfully compiled KDE4? The stupid Chinese Government blocked the only two kdemod mirrors , I guess compiling from source is my last choice!

To :davidlone .Thank you! But as I just told you  ,these two URLs are blocked in China ,means they have been firewalled by the government ,we couldn't connect directly to KDEmod without using a proxy server .

Is realy the "kdemod.podzone.net" blocked? or a problem of that host?

can US achlinuxer visit "kdemod.podzone.net"?

Fuck EVIL STUPID Ch!nese Government, Why block kdemod!

as a sidenote: It's really recommended to compile kde4 from trunk... LOTS of fixes and new features can only be found there. Kdemod has backported some of them, but surely not all.
For example trunk has a working kde-pim by now and panel resizing works like it should.
Kopete is finally usable and lots of other things...

Sadly the PKGBUILDS in aur didnt work for me... but you might give 'em a try...

I couldn't access kdemod.podzone.net yesterday
But it seems all right today,with amazing speed 500kb/s
