Weird ET problem

Hi, first of all, credits to arch, like it.
Secondly, I'd like my enemy territory to work, but it doesn't.
I already discovered that the original error is that I need to have file ui.mp.i386.so (or something like that) in the etmain folder. Which I did, after which the monitor flashes a couple of times, and goes back to wherever I started, giving me the same error message:

Sys_Error: Sys_LoadDll(ui) failed, no corresponding .so file found in fs_homepath or fs_basepath

Which means exactly the ui.mp.i386.so thingy.

The thing is, even if I move the ui.mp.i386.so to etmain, it doesn't work, because after I executed ./et, it just disappears.

Anyone some idea?

Goto http://www.linux-gamers.net/modules/new … 0&forum=41 the last post looks like it might be the solution to your problem. I just installed ET out of interest to see if I could replicate this error and I didn't get any, just wondering what method did you use to install ET?
