XFCE4 Desktop icons

How would I go about hiding the desktop icons for trash, home, etc in xfce but still having it so files show on it?

EDIT - got it through the ~/.config/xfce4/desktop/xfdesktoprc
file.

Now is there a  way for xfdesktop to load after compiz? I have the icons set up so the background of them is slighly transparent, but after compiz loads they go flat black until I click them.
