Touchpad not recognized

It seems as though uDev no longer wants to cooperate with my touchpad.  I haven't changed any configuration files or upgraded anything major.  I have been reduced to using the terminal in the meantime.

I'm also having a similar problem with PS/2 mice as well.  USB mice don't even power on.
