moc-svn not playing aac files[Solved]

I have built moc-svn but it does not build the aac decoder looking at the configure output shows the following:

checking for faacDecInit in -lfaad... no

Any Ideas?

tried playing aac files and also tried the new version of moc in extra still not playing aac files

Do you have ffmpeg installed?

Just did a pacman -Syu and now moc will play aac files.
