Macbook Fan Control doesn't work

Hi,
I have trouble with my Macbook pro 3.1 and Linux. The automatic fan speed doesn't work. I have always 2000 RPM.
Is it possible to solve this problem?

Yes, I have loaded the applesmc. I think it's a bug? Because I get no error.
