Problem with xserver

Hi. I am new to Arch.
Have problem to start Xserver.
I have laptop Acer 5620Z.

After install i try to run startx -> reboot -n -> system reboots. No graphics

OK. I used hwd and it seems to work.
Now i installed gnome, did some configuration and my new gnome is up.
There is still some! problems here. I will try to check how to resolve it and will post here
if it dont work.

I'm having a bad time with this one too GM965, which driver did you used??

The xf86-video-intel driver is causing problems for a whole bunch of people right now. If you can live with the xf86-video-i810 driver, it seems to be alright.

haven't tried i810 yet, but I was thinking if using a Windows driver, would make it works better??
