Pacman - query for updates

Is there a command i'm missing? I'm simply looking for a way to query pacman to see what updates are available, but not necessarily install. Normally i just do a pacman -Syu and see what is there and choose y or n. With yum (CentOS) i can do just this, check for available updates and install  accordingly.

Thanks,

K
