Hey guys!
After a "pacman –Syu" and installing kdemod, every attempt to use pacman results with this message:
error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryWhat could have caused the problem? Any idea how to solve it? Thank you!!!!

libstdc++.so.6 should be part of gcc-libs. I'm not sure how you could have lost it, unless perhaps you were bitten by an old file-moves-to-another-package bug that was in older versions of pacman. How long since your last update, out of curiosity?
Anyway, to fix, you should (hopefully) be able to run pacman-static -S gcc-libs

I bought a new computer, so I had to update for the first time after installing "Don't Panic 2007.08-2"
For me the whole pacman-updating process seemed weird in the first place... had to force pacman to update to 3.1.1
Then I had to agree to those questions
:: Replace cvsup with core/csup? [Y/n] y
:: Replace slocate with core/mlocate? [Y/n] y
:: Replace util-linux with core/util-linux-ng? [Y/n] y
:: Replace libgl-dri with extra/libgl? [Y/n] y
:: Replace scrollkeeper with extra/rarian? [Y/n] y
Will try your proposal now!
