Kernel 2.6.24 and the capability module [SOLVED]

I installed kernel 2.6.24 from testing today (enabled testing for the whole upgrade) and the capability module is gone. I don't really know much about the module other than avahi uses it. Is it supposed to not be there anymore?

--EDIT--

I filed a report at Flyspray. I don't know is this was intentional, so I filed under "support request".

It's intentional yes. capability is built in the kernel because of a change done upstream.

Thanks.

Does this mean capability can be removed from the modules list in rc.conf?

Thanks.

Yes. I started this thread because I noticed it getting rejected. I honestly have no idea still if any functionality was lost though.

smile I would really appreciate it if someone could write an article (in the wiki) about some common modules that are used by everyone..
