I used to be using gimp to save scanned documents into .pdf by using print to file, I don't think I've changed anything but they don't seem to work now today, I get a 400kbytes blank page as a result when I print it as .pdf.
I'm not sure what to do to fix that since it doesn't produce any errors and this is the fastest method for me to scan documents into .pdf format. Any ideas?

There are several packages involved in this task, at least gimp, gutenprint and ghostscript, esp. ps2pdf. Didn't you really change anything?
Did you try running gimp from a terminal? Sometimes error messages are only visible there.
Does this problem apply to all of your scanned input files or only to some of them?
A workaround could be using one of the command line tools for converting pictures to pdf (convert from imagemagick, sam2p, bmeps).
