wicd tray + xfce panel (+ compiz ?) problem

I have problem with wicd tray. The icon is a bit too small (1 pixel size), and 3d button effect on panel stops working. Screenshots below:

The tray icon is below compiz fusion icon tray on the picture to the right.

I have read wiki, but it didn't help me. I have run the script looking for links, but it hasn't found any.

I can say only that there are some well known problems with Xfce + Compiz.
Just search this forum to find some more...

Then I add another problem to the list... searching for "xfce* compiz tray" gives nothing but this topic.

I solved the problem by running xfapplet, but this is not a solution I was looking for I would rather avoid gnome stuff in xfce.
