Keyboard layout indicator applet freezes in GNOME

Hi all!

Keyboard layout indicator applet freezes in GNOME. This means that I'm not able to switch layouts by clicking on applet and applet doesn't show current keyboard layout sad The only way to solve this - delete applet from The Panel and place it again.

This strange behaviour began after latest GNOME updates.

How can I solve this "correctly"?

Re: Keyboard layout indicator applet freezes in GNOME

Problem dissappeared with this in xorg.conf:

    Option "XkbRules"    "xorg"
    Option "XkbModel"    "pc105"
    Option "XkbLayout"    "us,ru"
    Option "XkbVariant"    ",winkeys"
    Option "XkbOptions"    "grp:alt_shift_toggle"

Seems that GNOME doesn't like "ru(winkeys)" in "XkbLayout" wink
