How to whitelist?

I have installed compiz-fusion and I had the advice to whitelist either fglrx or /usr/bin/compiz. Can anybody tell me how I can do this or at least how whitelisting works?

thanks...

Uh, what?  How does that have ANYTHING to do with the question asked?

pinkcameloy - I think whitelisting happens with compiz-manager or something like that - you can actually edit the compiz-manager file (it's a script) and add 'fglrx' to the list of whitelisted modules inside that script.

I may have gotten the name wrong though.
