Just started downloading / seeding the torrents from LinuxTracker.
Are the GetArch Torrents the same, or should I download and seed them, too ?
I just checked one of the GetArch torrents and it appears that they are still using the old and now defunct tracker URL (or at least x86_64 FTP is). You can still seed them for clients with DHT, but they won't be as efficient.

Why is there no ftp Arch64 torrent?
Nobody uploaded a new torrent file with the updated tracker for Arch64 FTP. I just uploaded it, but I'm the only seeder and my upload speed is more like a piddle than a torrent: Archlinux-x86_64-2007.08-2.ftp.torrent. If you want to seed you don't have to redownload Archlinux-x86_64-2007.08-2.ftp.iso if you already have it. Just get the new torrent file and your client will recheck it. Now all Arch torrents have been uploaded and the seed to leecher ratio is quite good except for x86_64 FTP. Thanks everyone for seeding.

But the point is that it is also an official installation medium that does not have a torrent. Maybe in the future the developers will combine the ftp isos, but for now they are separate and it should have a separate torrent as well.
why would u waste your time downloading another torrent, or seeding an extra one when all u need to do is change one word in one file for each mirror u wanna use?

So are the new ones at linuxtracker going to be the ones linked from the homepage? Because it looks like the other one is still being used more.

The new ones should eventually be linked from the homepage because the tracker URL in the old torrents isn't responding anymore. I don't know if anyone will actually update the links, though.

Would a wiki page for torrent links be appropriate? It doesn't have to replace the current page, but if such a page existed and the download page linked to it then the users could keep unofficial torrent info up to date until the admins decided to make an official changes in links.

Bug fixed. Torrents now properly working.
Update: I spoke too soon and just assumed that they were fixed because they bug report was closed. The torrents are still using the old tracker URL. Maybe they just need to be uploaded to the site now.

If it's still broken, re-open the bug report.

yeah.
I had the wrong filename (fixed).
It should work once the files replicate out to the main mirror.
Give it a few hours and it should work.
