[SOLVED] USB ports on MacBook using USB 1.1?
On my MacBook one of the USB ports is not recognising any devices (even though the do get power). The other on is principally fine, however USB sticks and external HDDs are really slow. dmesg says:

lsusb and usbview....You may not have ehci enabled for USB 2.0 devices.

bash-3.2$I've tried mounting sync and async, like some posts have suggested, but hdparm -t ist stuck at about 1 Mb/s.
