Slow data transfer in KDEmod and Konqueror questions..

Hi, I'm using an almost fresh install of Arch, now with KDEmod. When I transfer music from a external HDD to my laptop (HDD) the system becomes completely cropped. I'm barely able to close/open windows, or do any other common task. This works alright in Gnome (files is togheter around 1-3gb).

So I've chosen to use Konqueror as default browser as I find it really quick to open and it feels very lightweight, and it has good KDE integration. However, I can't seem to be able to add the Google bar to the same panel were the adress bar is. I've seen this is done in Kubuntu though. Also, Konqueror render/open websites really slow compared to FF3 and Opera9.5. Is anything planned for improving its speed?

Ok, that's all..:P

There's a package called something like KDE add ons that will give you the search bar. Although the address bar is a better search bar. But that's just me.

There is also a thread over at the KDEMod forums called something like the Konqueror Web Browser Performance Thread. it will get Konqueror up to near Opera and Firefox speeds.
