I can't seem to find the 'virtualbox-ose' package, even though I have the community repository enabled. All it gives me is:
community/virtualbox-modules 1.5.2-5
Kernel modules for VirtualBox (vboxdrv)Any ideas where it's gone?

I guess you're on x86_64. The virtualbox packages are not available for x86_64. AFAIK, they don't work or build on x86_64. As for virtualbox-modules, I don't know why it's there.

Looks like Xen is the only plausible option for left. Off to read up on Xen then...
*goes to kill self after spending hours ploughing through the virtualbox manual*
*note to self: first check that it can be installed, THEN read the manual*
