abcde - libid trouble

i wanted to encode a cd to play it on my new mp3-player (iriver), but somehow, abcde seems to be broken - or is it libid?

i'm not an expert and did first time after long time tried to encode a cd, so maybe i missed something - any experts around?

found easytag to rename the already encoded files as i realized that abcde did the main job and only not named the new files - easytag, that should name the files - pacman -S it but unfortunately it did not run

seems to be a libid problem - am i right?

is this known?
