Problem with wireless network connection after starting X

I have just installed Arch on a dell d620 laptop. It is using the bcm43xx wireless driver.

I can connect to my AP automatically via the wireless.conf script. Everything works fine from the console.

When I start X, I am still connected to the AP, but I can no reach any network address, even local address on my 192.168.1.x network.

I then have to ifconfig eth1 down, ifconfig eth1 up, iwconfig eth1 essid "myapname".  Then I have to set the route via route add default gw 192.168.1.1.

I only have to do this after starting X.

Does anyone have any ideas to help me out?

Re: Problem with wireless network connection after starting X

Drastic solution is to write those all commands into .xinitrc file so then you fire "startx" they all will be entered.
