Do I have to copy mplayer plugin files to ~/.mozilla/plugins

I am using Arch64.

I installed mplayer-plugin, but it didn't work because about:plugins didn't show mplayer plugins installed.

I made it work by manually copying all plugin files to ~/.mozilla/plugins

Is there any easier way to make these plugins work without manually copying.
