Help! Root and web access permissions

Hi guys. I want only the root user to see the home/httpd/html folder and I changed the permissions to Others  -> Folder Access NONE. All ok But I need to see the documents in my apache. And I can't. I tried to find a web group (like www-data, web, www) but it was not created with apache. Is something wrong? How to fix it?
