Congratulate you zyghom!
I think I'm doing that's today with my laptop.
No more Windows for me, even if my job coerces it smile

I run arch on my Acer Aspire 5100 and it runs perfectly. The card reader even works since kernel 2.6.23

Arch is I think the best distro for a laptop . I use Arch with [testing] enabled (oh ,yes ) and I am a big supporter of it in Greece cool:cool:

yeap, I only had to compile kernel to make my 4GB visible by system - HIGHMEM=4GB did not make the thing but when I opted for HIGHMEM=64GB then it is ok now (strange anyway wink )
