WiFi Radar?

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good wifi radar that won't screw with any config files.  I just want something to show available access points, does not have to be GUI.  I tried kismet but after kismet runs it would leave my wifi adapter down and I wasn't able to bring it back up or get it running again with anything short of a system restart.  Thanks for your time in advance!

Re: WiFi Radar?

You can try iwlist from wireless_tools. It works best if you're root. It may take a few tries:

iwlist <your_wireless_card> scan
