obmenu won't start

I installed obmenu to play with and i get the following:

any ideas? python is installed

I'm not sure, but it looks to me as if the menu.xml is not valid XML and therefor it complains. Did you just install Openbox and haven't got a ~/.config/openbox/menu.xml? If so there's an example file you can copy from /etc/xdg/openbox/menu.xml. Otherwise perhaps post your menu.xml and see if someone can spot an error.
