Pacman Upgrade Errors

Hi, I'm having problems upgrading on a fresh install. When I try to upgrade or install anything with Pacman, it downloads the packages then does this:

warning: current locale is invalid; using default "C" locale

warning: bind: forcing upgrade to version 9.4.2-1
warning: dnsutils: forcing upgrade to version 9.4.2-1
warning: flex: forcing upgrade to version 2.5.33-4
warning: ruby: forcing upgrade to version 1.8.6_p111-4

Re: Pacman Upgrade Errors

Thank you, that worked nicely. Should I be worried that I can't install anything without using the -f option? It doesn't seem quite right...
