Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro - External rack

Hi,
I have a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro.
I would like to use the external rack.
I wonder if it's possible...
I searched on the net, but i couldn't find anything.
Could someone help me?

I found something here:

But it is obsolete.
They suggest editing /etc/modules.conf but in kernel 2.6.x /etc/modules.conf doesn't exist anymore and simply
that option doesn't work in /etc/modprobe.conf

any idea?
