OpenOffice menu bug

A very odd thing is happening in OpenOffice. When I press 'File' or 'Edit' or any other menu in the top toolbar, the dropdown menu is all screwed up.

Instead of appearing directly beneath it, it appears on the other side of the screen all the way over to the right. All of the menus appear in that same place.

I would put a screenshot up, but I can't get it so that the menu is visible (as i'm clicking elsewhere).

I'm running the normal OpenOffice version from [extra], in fluxbox. I have a feeling it may be to do with fluxbox, as I didn't have this problem with openbox.

Moreover, the thread linked by tigrmesh is not very relevant, because it concerns the version (2.3) which was in testing and is now in extra: the version in testing (with lots of problems for me) is 2.4.

no. see changed topic. please collect bugs with the testing pkg there. i can't follow dozens of spread threads everywhere. or just use our bugtracker.
