Problems with bazaar when running makepkg for awn-extras-bzr from AUR

I've downloaded and unpacked the tarball but when I run 'makepkg' I keep getting the same error:

Can anyone tell me why bazaar won't resolve 'bazaar.launchpad.net'?  I can see it in Firefox - it's there.  It's just that it won't let me checkout the code and I've spend the last 2 hours trying to find out just wtf is going on.  Any help is appreciated.
