Latest Kernel Build!

I like to get an answer, why it is?

Old Kernel

New Kernel kernel26 2.6.24.3-1

[jada@archlinux-01 ~]$ cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.6.24-ARCH (root@artin) (gcc version 4.2.3) #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Feb 27 01:15:32 CET 2008
[jada@archlinux-01 ~]$

what confuse me are this parts old (root@T-POWA-LX) new (root@artin)!

Is 2.6.24.3 already in [core]? Pacman didn't update it when I tried to update my system earlier today roll

Do you know how mirrors work? You usually need to be patient.
But there are always some mirrors that are badly outdated. If that's the case, try others.


pacman roulette : pacman -S $(pacman -Slq | LANG=C sort -R | head -n $((RANDOM % 10)))

Ah yes, completely forgot about:
# kernel26>=2.6.24-2
# kernel26<=2.6.25-0

I saw it before in a testing kernel, you reminded me of that.
