Wierd mouse glitch

This has been happening in the last few distros I've tried.  When typing, the mouse will suddenly click on it's own, and either cause me to start erasing or typing stuff into the wrong place in a message or whatever I'm writing or if the mouse isn't over the window or typing box or page or whatever it will take me out of the typing box and I'll have to reclick it to keep typing.  What's going on?  It's gotta be some glitch in the x server or something?

Easy answer:  It is the mouse which is faulty. Replace it.
