Broken Man(pages)

Hello,
it seems that since I upgraded the man-pages package to version 2.78-1 as a part of my weekly 'pacman -Syu' man suddenly won't find man pages that I am certain it can find.
For example, 'man man' doesn't work, neither does 'man apropos', but 'man samba' does.
The ones that don't work return with "No manual entry for ...."

Has anybody else experienced this?
I haven't changed man.conf, either.

It seems very odd, considering that these manpages are under /usr/share/man/*/ (I checked) but it can't seem to find them...

Thank you in advanced for your assistance.

Re: Broken Man(pages)

Pacman should have installed a new version of /etc/profile on your system (as /etc/profile.pacnew) -- you should merge the changes in the new version into your current file -- among the changes there should be a "unset MANPATH" command which should get your man pages working again.
