Hi All,
I've got the realtime kernel running and qjackctl running in realtime mode. Trying to start qsampler I get:
[a@acw ~]$ qsampler
Warning: no locale found: /usr/share/locale/qsampler_en_US.utf8.qm
I believe my locales are set correctly but it's true that there is no /usr/share/locale/qsampler_US.utf8.qm.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Arthur

As it turns out this warning:
[a@acw ~]$ qsampler
Warning: no locale found: /usr/share/locale/qsampler_en_US.utf8.qm
does not actually prevent qsampler from starting.
Turns out that linuxsampler is not a dependency of qsampler (I believe that it should be).
Anyway, simply installing linuxsampler did the trick.

how on earth did you get linuxsampler to work on Arch? I've been trying forever.
I even done a fresh install of Arch but I get a gcc error building libgig. I've tried to install the latest versions of linuxsampler and its dependencies and all failed.
any help?
