[Solved]Holux M241 GPS logger/receiver

Hi,

I want to buy the mentioned GPS logger/receiver. Now my question to our great community big_smile
Does anybody have this device or knows if it works with Linux? I have searched the web and found gpsbabel which works with several devices, but I don't find the mentioned. It uses the standard protocol "NMEA Protocol V 3.01" for communicating with the PC. It has a bluetooth and mini-usb adapter builtin for connecting.

I don't want to use it as a live gps receiver. It should only record the waypoints in a specific time interval and this does works perfectly, that's the main/original usage of this device. I plan a bigger hike and want to use it as a "way recorder".

Can anyone give me some information on it?

Daniel
