[BitTornado] wxPython error

Installed "bittornado 0.3.18-1", "wxpython-2.6 2.6.3.3-2" from AUR

then ran "/usr/bin/btdownloadgui.py"

$ btdownloadgui.py
/usr/bin/btdownloadgui.py:20: DeprecationWarning: The wxPython compatibility package is no longer automatically generated or actively maintained.
Please switch to the wx package as soon as possible.
  from wxPython.wx import *
wxPython is either not installed or has not been installed properly.

do i have to do some relinking because wx 2.8 is installed too? or what?

There is a newer wxpython in extra. Install that rather than wxpython-2.6.

anyone figure this out?
I have the same problem:

i have that one installed, specifically for the BitTornado gui

soo how to you force Bttornado to look for and run with 2.6 then??
because its buggy with 2.8 soo 2.6 is needed but it will not run.
