compiz-fusion & xfce4

Does anyone use xfce with compiz-fusion? On both my desktop and my laptop when I run it with xfce4 I get no window borders/title bar. I don't think it is the video card. I have an ATI in my laptop and nvidia in my desktop. It seems to be independent of that. And all the effects seem to work flawlessly...just no window borders.

Hm, I don't know what the problem is. I have emerald installed even.

Just to make sure, you have window decoration plugin enabled?

Yeah, I've tried that as well. It doesn't seem to be working for me either.

Re: compiz-fusion & xfce4

I rebooted and tried emerald --replace again, and it worked. But is it absolutely necessary to use emerald with compiz?
