This is not FF 4. This is simply a branch from the trunk from about a week ago. It was created to become the new trunk and no real development has begun on it yet. Nothing is different except for maybe some small backend work.

Indeed. For your info, I'm using trunk builds of Mozilla products since end of 2000... And I've seen lot of nonsense like this article.

Trunk will be tagged - well I think so - after 3.0b5 is released, and with a little hope, last beta. After that, a 3.0 branch will be created, for 3.0rc and 3.0.x releases.
