With the new driver series 169 flat panel scaling no longer works, instead I get a black screen, is anyone else getting this problem with the 169 series? It works perfectly with the 100.14.19 driver which I've had to downgrade to though I don't want to be have to use this old driver version forever.
EDIT: Fixed it myself. For those of you out their suffering from the same problem the solution is to put _60 after the resolution in the display section of your xorg.conf e.g. 800x600_60 for Diablo 2 or 1024x768_60 for Sacred.
