Upgrading the processor

Hi!

Just a quick question. Has anyone successfully upgraded to a new processor (just the processor, same brand and model) without any problems with the current install? I'm hoping I could just replace my old one with the new one I'm about to buy without having to reinstall arch from scratch. What kind of issues could I encounter if I just replace it?

Replacing AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.0GHz Socket AM2, 512KB
with AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHz Socket AM2,2MB
