I have very little spare time, and therefore quit maintaining packages in aur some time ago.
But, as I found a very nice and smart Doppelkopf cardgame for Linux, I thought someone would like to make a package of it. The game is really worth a try, if you know Doppelkopf.

Hey, I like to play Doppelkopf. ![]()
I've made a PKGBUILD and uploaded it to AUR.
My skills are not very high.
The PKGBUILD creates the script freedoko in /usr/bin/
#!/bin/sh
cd /usr/share/freedoko-0.7.4
exec ./FreeDoko
cd -I did it because FreeDoko does only work if it's started from within the directory which contains the FreeDoko binary.
( /usr/share/freedoko-0.7.4 )
I think thats not very elegantly. So, if anybody has a better solution, let me know....

Few comments on PKGBUILD:
-remove freedoko.install from the sources. The .install files don't need to be in the source array. The 'install=' field takes care of them.
-It would be better to have the script in a seperate file which gets included in the source array and installed.
- don't use a specific sourceforge mirror.
The rest looks good. Using a script here is a the best way to handle these kind of apps.

ok,
Which sourceforge url is used for a nonspecific mirror?
is it http://downloads.sourceforge.net/..... ?

Also the :
op=$1
shift
$op "$@"in the .install file are no longer necessary.

ok, one last qustion.
Should I name the script freedoko.sh and install it as freedoko. Or just name it freedoko?
edit:
